This retrospective is a snapshot of David Sancious’ expansive musical career. A self-taught prodigy on both piano and guitar, David met Bruce Springsteen in Asbury Park in the early 70’s and became a founding member of what was to become The E Street Band. Right before Born to Run catapulted Bruce to superstardom, David left to pursue a solo career, recording 4 albums with his “fusion” band, Tone.
It didn’t take long for high-profile musicians to notice. David quickly became one of the most in-demand session and touring musicians in the world; touring and recording with Peter Gabriel, Sting, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Santana, Seal and numerous other A-List performers.
